DRXL ONE is a Western New York holding company and consultancy. We build and run local businesses with AI, and we help Western New York small businesses do the same.
Our story
Founder-led, and local.
DRXL ONE is founded and run by Carl Drechsel. Carl spent more than 20 years in enterprise technology, across engineering, enterprise architecture and technology strategy. That work covered Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, security, governance, digital workplace and AI enablement in large organizations.
DRXL ONE applies that experience to small businesses in Western New York. It owns and operates two local companies, Find A Pro WNY and QuickConnect Sites, and uses AI to run them: written playbooks, AI that drafts and checks the routine work, and a person who reviews it.
The consultancy came out of that work. The tools we set up for clients, like the AI Virtual Controller, were built for the job of running DRXL ONE businesses. When you work with us, you work with the person who built them.

How we work
Four rules we run our own companies by.
AI drafts and checks. A person reviews.
AI is good at routine drafting and at checking work against written rules. It doesn't get the last word. A person reads the output before anyone relies on it.
Don't guess
When an input is missing, our tools stop and say so. We would rather send a short list of what we need than a confident answer built on a guess.
Local first
Our companies and our clients share a region. The chambers, trade schools and supply houses we work with for the portfolio are the same ones our clients know.
